GOD doesn't need us but HE WANTS us because HE is in LOVE with us [Ephesians 2.4-5]; that's why JESUS said 'in my FATHER'S house there are many Mansions, I am going to prepare one for you' before HE died for us, fulfilling GOD'S Will [John 14.2-3]. GOD/BIBLE promises Eternal LIFE will begin once we DIE in CHRIST [1 Corinthians 15.51-54], [1 Thessalonians 4.13-18], [Daniel 12.2-3]. So get SAVED now and continue to be in CHRIST until the End.
