So, as long as You don't welcome GOD [Revelation 3.20] and let GOD into your heart you will remain dull, down and depressed because GOD is the missing link all our hearts are CRAVING for [Ecclesiastes 3.11], [Romans 15.13], [John 14.27], [Acts 13.52].
